Co-Founder and President

Kamran Shukoor serves as the president and is one of the co-founders of the MediUnite Journal. Kamran co-founded MediUnite Journal along with Ibrahim Tariq during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic during a time of dire medical need.

Ibrahim Tariq

Co-Founder and Chairman

Ibrahim Tariq serves as the chairman and is one of the co-founders of the MediUnite Journal. Ibrahim co-founded MediUnite Journal along with Kamran Shukoor during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic during a time of dire medical need.

Rustom Alghoul

Vice-Chairman

Rustom Alghoul serves as the vice-chairman of MediUnite and MediUnite Journal, currently residing in Manitoba. Rustom is passionate about healthcare and has worked with MediUnite Journal for over three years.

Salma Sher

Director of Content Management

Salma is a science-driven student attending university in the United States. She has volunteered with the MediUnite Journal for multiple years

Shamir is a student in Calgary, Canada and has passionately volunteered with the MediUnite Journal for two years.

Rafee is a UofC Engineering student in his first year, and has passionately volunteered with the MediUnite Journal for over one year.

Director of Media

Alice is a passionate and dedicated member of MediUnite Journal, with a strong interest in healthcare, hoping to pursue the realm.

Saba Shafiq

Head Director of MediUnite Magazine Committee

Saba is an undergraduate student specializing in IT Management with experience in project coordination and proposal management. Over the past 10 years, she has lived on four continents, now with her two cats, embracing unique perspectives.

Mira Tsui

Mira is currently a high school student taking partial IB in Vancouver, BC. She has a strong interest in the MediUnite Journal as a driving force behind the magazine committee.

Amy Shin

Amy is currently a second year student at the University of Toronto studying Political Science and Peace, Justice and Conflict. She participates in a variety of community outreach work and is based in Calgary, Alberta.
